Costa Maya, a popular port of Mexico, has been hit by a tempest, which has caused severe damages. The harbor is so beautiful that it looks just like a paradise, but with the indemnity that has emerged because of the fury of nature, it has become a vast ruin. The damage is estimated to be extremely rigorous, and the condition of the port is lamentable. Costa Maya is one of the most visited harbors in the Caribbean islands, and therefore, the consequences of this tornado are going to be harsh for the tourism of the region.
It is predicted by the experts that the haven will not be in a condition of operations for at least half a year. The sales and marketing administrator of the region, Cesar Lizarraga, is anxious because of the loss suffered by the dock. He was reluctant to give any new information, but remarked that the tornado has smashed almost half infrastructure of the port. The expenditure on the reparation of the damage caused will be extremely high. The port will not be able to function for around eight months, according to Lizarraga. There will be conferences arranged with the experts to deal with the situation.
The artificial harbor, which was nothing six years ago, beamed with vitality and life because of the crowds of tourists who had fun and frolic in this wonderful place. Now, the natural agents have turned it back to almost nothing. I remember a line by Tennyson, describing the mercilessness of nature: “Nature is red in tooth and claw”.
I hope that the port is revitalized as soon as possible.
