The Brooklyn Bridge turns 125 years.
The Brooklyn Bridge was completed 125 years and last Friday was celebrated with lights and fireworks by nuiorchesi. Started to build in 1870 was completed in 1883, after 13 years of work, joining Manhattan in Brooklyn that at the time were two distinct cities.
The bridge is ahead on foot or by bicycle and in fact represents a major tourist attractions of the big apple. The entrance for pedestrians, side Manhattan is at the end of Centre Street.
