The most beautiful beaches: Mancora in Peru

Mancora, the extreme north of Peru not far from the border with Ecuador, was born as a fishing village, but is evolving into tourist resort, after being discovered by surfers who have found excellent conditions for practising their sport ( and we hope the transformation does not affect too much the beauty of these places), as frangono waves of the Pacific, but also for the water temperature, which in summer (corresponds to our winter) at around 24 degrees.
We close of the equator, so that even in winter temperatures do not ever fall below 20 degrees, so these long sandy beaches always hosting tourists coming not only from Peru but also from neighbouring states. From Lima to get there with 18 hours of bus or 2 of air transfers.
Mancora is located along the Panamerican highway, the integrated system of roads that stretches over 25,000 kilometers dall’Alaska Chile, running almost continuously along the Pacific coast of the two American continents. Almost continuously, because even today there is a hole of about 90 km between 87 km between Panama and Colombia in an area of tropical mountain forest called Tapón de Darién.
