The island of Boipeba, the Archipelago of Tinharé south of Salvador de Bahia, is an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The connoisseurs of the area describe as “Morro de Sao Paulo 10 years ago, when tourism still had not arrived en masse.” And in fact the island is pristine, between the ocean and the river Inferno, its beaches are expanses as the eye can see white sand and palm trees and the prices are very accessible.

The most beautiful beaches: Itacarezinho to Itacarè in the state of Bahia in Brazil

Bella verò? This is the beach Itacarezinho, only one of the beautiful beaches you can attend if you have the good fortune to reach Itacarè, in the Brazilian state of Bahia. I do not think, and then just go on the official site of Itacarè, browse photos of its beaches (Concha, Resende, Tiririca, Costa, Ribeira, Pontal, Coroinha, Sao Jose Prainha, Syriac, Jeribucaçu, Engenhoca, Havaizinho, Itacarezinho, Serra Grande) to realise that this part of the world was kissed by luck.

Luck may take different forms, such as that found at the point where the rainforest meets the ocean, that of having been for centuries the den of pirates British and Dutch and then agricultural area for the cultivation of cocoa, or that he saw the first route that the collegasse with the rest of the country only ten years ago, making it possible to preserve up to the present day this corner of paradise.

The area, despite begins to be known for tourism, still maintains the size of a small town of about 20,000 inhabitants, dedicated to fishing or tourism. Here one comes to enjoy the beauties of nature, thanks to a series of sporting activities that can be practised within the large protected area near the town of Itacarè. If the tourists “normal” perhaps not yet know Itacarè and its beaches, surfers from all over the world know the beach Tiririca, where he takes a leg of Brazilian championship surfing. Eye however, which is suited only to experts.
