Greek Islands: Nisyros Guide,Greece

Who knows the Greek islands, found to Nisyros the atmosphere that respiravano in Santorini 20 years ago. E ‘in fact a volcanic island and colors reminiscent of the beaches Santorini but still is little frequented by mass tourism. It ‘an island relaxed and relaxing, not reach 42 square kilometres and has 28 km of coastline.

The town’s main Mandraki, picturesque streets open onto squares obreggiate from trees where the locals gather in the evening for drinking, chatting and, why not watch television. The village has no beach and day is crowded by tourists who make the trip organised by the volcano nearby islands, mainly from Kos and Tilos.

To fully breathe the air of sonnacchiosa then, I suggest sleep in the nearby village of Pali, a few kilometers from Mandraki accessible by motor and the autostop. The port of Pali has a wide sandy beach, popular by the Greeks many of whom emigrated to the United States and return only in summer. Pali then hosts a marina for small boats and can accommodate vessels unloaded crates of fresh fish for restaurants and taverns in the area.

Notebooks travel artist Passenger, Art ,Egypt

Reinterpretare places now abused by mass tourism through travel notebooks, illustrations, notes and drawings. This is what he does, among other things, Stefano Faravelli, itinerant artist, winner of awards for his Carnets de Voyage, some of which are published by Editions EDT, the Italian publisher of guides Lonley Planet.

His last missed by chicca trip to Egypt is a video, produced and implemented by Travel dell’Elefante, with the stages of the artist and the route of its magical and enchanting drawings on notebooks.

To be sure if they will do a book, indeed a carnet travel and a film: it is precisely from this film that were learned the short trailers presented in this week, a daily blog-magazine Donneconlavaligia. From June 15 all videos will be visible only on YouTube channel of Donneconlavaligia. The photo is of Francis Gasparetti

The most beautiful beaches: Mancora in Peru

Mancora, the extreme north of Peru not far from the border with Ecuador, was born as a fishing village, but is evolving into tourist resort, after being discovered by surfers who have found excellent conditions for practising their sport ( and we hope the transformation does not affect too much the beauty of these places), as frangono waves of the Pacific, but also for the water temperature, which in summer (corresponds to our winter) at around 24 degrees.

We close of the equator, so that even in winter temperatures do not ever fall below 20 degrees, so these long sandy beaches always hosting tourists coming not only from Peru but also from neighbouring states. From Lima to get there with 18 hours of bus or 2 of air transfers.

Mancora is located along the Panamerican highway, the integrated system of roads that stretches over 25,000 kilometers dall’Alaska Chile, running almost continuously along the Pacific coast of the two American continents. Almost continuously, because even today there is a hole of about 90 km between 87 km between Panama and Colombia in an area of tropical mountain forest called Tapón de Darién.
