The marathon of Death Valley, California
Many times we talked, here on Travel blog, the magnificent landscapes of Death Valley, and many times we could not avoid to remember the conditions and especially the extreme temperatures of this beautiful natural park United States.
Just considering these factors, is even more incredible to know that every year, in July (that is, in most months hot, with temperatures often exceeding 50 degrees centigrade), held the Bad water Ultra marathon: 220 km, from Bad water until Mount Whitney (pictured).
According to Wikipedia, in 2004, for example, on 72 participants, 57 have failed to reach the goal. What can we say, as I see it is already so that all survivors.
