Chicago is literally the “windy city” and storm has been expected which has led to the delay in flights all over Chicago. It has been anticipated that winds are likely to gust upward to 50 mph. According to the National Weather Service’s website, the strong storms are expected to pass through the area between 6 p.m. Thursday and 2 a.m. Friday. Hence The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Cook, Will, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kankakee and McHenry counties. Flight delays are therefore expected on Thursday afternoon and evening because of unfeasible conditions at O’Hare and Midway airports according to the City Department of Aviation. Aviation spokesman Gregg Cunningham has advised the travelers to check the status of their flight by visiting flychicago.com or by contacting respective airlines. Via MSNBC

The pet owners have increasingly realized the need of vacations for their pets and traveling with pets has increasingly become common. The travel industry has been quick to make business out of it and they now offer packages with pet beds and other services for pets.

The little dogs can travel in planes but a person must be there to take care of them. The dogs that get nervous at home are likely to get nervous while traveling. Your energy can also comfort the dog. 

Sedation may be an option to avoid problems but the sedative should suit the dog. It should not make him lethargic. 

Thus, I think that you can solve many of your problems regarding transportation of pets by taking care of these small things.
