Skiing Season in Australia

Skiing Season in Australia

It’s snowing in Australia but do you think that all this is real? Of course not…it’s snowing there but this much is not enough for skiing. So, the ski resorts have to depend on snow-making in the opening season. Throb and Perisher Blue- the two major ski-resorts are hopeful but cannot confirm how the slopes will look after four days of snowing.

Caroline Ross, a spokeswoman for Perisher Blue avers that the valleys are becoming patchy but there is not ample snow for the ski sport. Conditions have been appropriate for snow fall as the weather has been cold and there have been showers over the alpine, according to Dean Stewart, a senior forecaster at the Victorian Weather Office.

Snow-making operations are in full swing, and they are making snow on nights with sub-zero temperatures. The forecast is for chilly nights to continue, so snow-making will continue until the opening season. The opening season is for partying and skiing both. Therefore people carry both their dancing shoes as well as ski-shoes.

What are you waiting for? Enjoy the chill and snow in Australia this season.

Hotel Renovations- Inconvenience For The Travelers

Friday, June 1st, 2007

 HOTEL

Hotels across U.S. are undergoing renovations and this has led to severe problems for the travelers .the U.S. hotels spending a record $5.5 billion on renovations this year have made it really a difficult sojourn for the tourists. The tourists and hoteliers both are in a great difficulty. The tourists have to bear with the dust, awful stench, closed restaurants, sounds of jack hammering, awful food, and terribly upset lobbies and also restricted room choices. It seems as if they are staying in construction zones. For this reason the travelers are not able to stay there in serenity and have to undergo many troubles. The hotels now should not persuade people for a sojourn promising peaceful and airy public spaces. The tourists are upset because of the revamp process and are resenting the full payment because of the problems caused due to work in progress.

Hoteliers must therefore organize their functions in such a way so that they cater to the needs of the travelers causing them as little discomfort as possible and also manage the renovation work at the same time.

The Andorra Hill Station

The Andorra is land locked in the Pyrenees between France and Spain and there speaks catalan, and French. The size of Andorra 181 square miles, some 2.5 times the size of America capital and its population is 72,822.

The Andorra’s backstory fuzzy story of independence began in the 9th century, when Charlemagne after beating back the invading Moors, rewarded Andorra with independence. Since 1993 Andorra has had its own parliament, but the titular heads of state are the French president and the Spanish bishop of Urgel. Andorra is not simply easy to get to there are no airports, for example, only roads from side to side high mountain passes. But it does have great views and great skiing, including Pas De La Casa, the highest mountain resort in the Pyrénees.

A Funny Thing regarding Andorra: With no income tax and very low taxes on goods, and not accurately open-book banking, Andorra is a hotspot for high-rolling tax evaders.
