The Australian Zoo Launches Its Latest Venture

The Australian Zoo has done a remarkable job by launching the zoo’s whale watching boat. The vessel has been named as Steve’s Whale One by the children of Steve and Terri Irwin . Despite bitterly cold conditions, Terri Irwin launched the vessel in the memory of her late husband Steve Irwin. Therefore the memory of crocodile hunter Steve Irwin and whale conservation were mingled on the 23rd of june.
Steve’s Whale One will take the tourists in search of whales migrating up the east coast of Australia. The guests will also be able to have the enjoyment and excitement of listening to the whale music through the underwater hydrophones. Departing from Mooloolaba Wharf on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, the 130-man boat will offer 360-degree views from large observation decks. This expedition would be so unforgettable in the memory of travel-lovers and would prove to be an indelible stamp for their adventrous trip. The biologists would also be present there to explain and discuss the gentle giants.
The Australian zoo authorities are aspiring to promote the cause of whale conservation through this adventrous gesture. They want to make people fall in love with these beautiful creatures and to create awareness among people for conservation of whales.
It is a really an innovative way to promote tourism as well as whale conservation campaign.

Growth In Tourism From Cyprus To Australia

June 25th, 2007 by Hester

Some changes would be taken by the australian tourism in order to promote tourism from Cypriot tourists. These changes would encourage the tourists and would lead to additional growth in tourism in the land of kangaroos.
Australia will introduce its electronic tourist visa application service to Cypriot citizens from July 1. This step would allow the Cypriot tourists for visa applications via the internet. Australia’s Assistant Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Teresa Gambaro said that this would make the work easier and feasible and the application then would be processed within minutes. This facility would enhance relations and communication between the two countries. The links between Australia and Cyprus would also be ameliorated. The visa reciprocity arrangements with the European Union would also improve with this move according to Teresa Gambaro. The client service would also be enhanced through the use of the auto-grant system and Australia also would not have to compromise with the integrity and quality of Australia’s border security measures.
I think that this is a welcome move for both the countries. It is obviously good news for the Cypriot tourists.
