Michael O’Leary, Ryanair’s CEO, announced that to counter the ongoing economic crisis, which has a negative impact on tourism (and also thanks to lower fuel prices) will be a reduction in the prices of all flights to throughout the winter season. The “discount” is not fixed, this is an average calculation, therefore hardly seen without a long comparisons end. However, O ‘Leary says that the average cost of a Ryanair ticket, this summer, was 47 euros, while this winter is pointing to lower the average at 40 euros (always including taxes), confident, as he himself admits that the price of fuel remains stable for months.
