Italian Touring Club: assigned to the orange flags of Lombardy, Lombardy, Bergamo,travel

Bienno and Tignale (Bs), Castellaro Lagusello, a hamlet of Monzambano, and Sabbioneta (Mn), Chiavenna (So), Clusone and Gromo (Bg), Menaggio (see photo) and back (Co). They are the 9 locations, including 60 who have applied for membership, to have received the recognition of the orange flag.

The flag is the mark of quality tourism and environmental Touring Club that since 1999, select locations with a population of less than 15 thousand inhabitants inland, according to strict parameters is awarded to municipalities that not only boast a historical heritage, cultural and environmental aspects of hon our but are also able to offer the tourist a reception quality.

In the Touring Club site you can find a complete list of Italian Municipalities that have been allocated the orange flag and the motivations that led to the choice for example Sabbioneta received the title because it offers an efficient tourist information service, guaranteed by an information point dedicated, well organized and full of promotional material on location. The old town is well preserved and of high historical interest - thanks to numerous cultural attractions visited with a single ticket cumulative. The atmosphere is typical and special is the hospitality offered to visitors by operators and residents.
