A Luxury Resort

The Maldives is often called ‘the last paradise on earth’. It is the ultimate pristine land which offers a thousand shades of blue. The tropical islands with swaying palm trees, pure white sand beaches and brilliant turquoise lagoons actually give a sense of being in a PARADISE.

This is a land of 1,190 low-lying coral islands scattered across the equator, in groups of 26 naturally occurring atolls which are divided into 20 for administrative purposes. I really feel that it is an absolutely unique place to have a sojourn from the polluted and congested city life.

The charm of this land will now be augmented by Regent Hotels & Resorts which will open a new luxury resort in the Maldives in 2008. it is going to be a 50-villa luxury resort (23 beach villas and 27 over-water villas, including two Presidential villas) on the unspoiled Maalefushi Island, just 50 minutes by seaplane from the capital city of Male. All the villas are designed to provide the utmost comfort and luxurious stay.

Each villa will have private plunge pools and expansive timber decks offering breathtaking views across the turquoise lagoon. So, enjoy the crystal clear waters of this wonderland which has abundance of brilliant white beaches and spectacular sunsets.

East Lothian- A Long Coastline

East Lothian in Scotland is an ideal place for those who love peaceful and long coastline. It is a place full of lovely beaches and delightful weather. The region lies to the east of Edinburgh. The miles of coastline along the North Sea are really an amazing and wonderful place to visit. It has some of the most beautiful and serene beaches. The variety of sea-birds that you can find here will corroborate the pleasure of your sojourn in this coastal area. The sea-bird centre in North Berwick is a major attraction for tourists who are able to watch beautiful sea-birds in the lap of nature.
The inland landscapes, towns, and villages of the place are also worth visiting, while the variety of beaches promises an idyllic stay in Edinburgh. Here is a picture of the marvelous view that Gullane beach offers.
