A Flight d’Angelo in the Dolomites Lucanian

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Surely is not an attraction suitable for those suffering from dizziness or afraid to fly. But this Flight d’Angelo has all the air of being an experience of those who remember for a long time… .. Appesi to one - we hope solid - harness hooked to a steel cable suspended between the peaks of two countries, and Castelmezzano Pietrapertosa, flies between the Dolomites Lucanian, discovering that territory from a point of view decidedly original.

Was also the setting of Flight: you arrive in a country, you visit and then takes off for a few minutes until you reach the other end of the rope. Here you visit the second village, there’s the landscape, degustano products typical of areas and then back coupled with a second cable.

The ebrezza flight you can try on two different lines whose gradient is 118 and 130 meters. The first, called San Martino, beginning at Pietrapertosa (share starting 1020) and arrives in Castelmezzano (share of arrival 859) after covering 1415 metres reaching a maximum speed of 110 km / h. The line Peschiere, however, can go it Castelmezzano (1019 metres) and arrive in Pietrapertosa (888 meters) touching 120 km / h over a distance of 1452 metres.
