The Berlin Wall constructions start in the early morning of Aug, 13, 1961Sunday. It was a desperate and effectual move in the GDR to stop escaping for East Berliners from the East German state for Soviet controlled in the city west side, which was occupied the French, British, and Americans. The unique situation of Berlin and western armed forces half-controlled the city. The Berlin wall was divided east & West Berlin and this icon symbol of cold war.
Every year thousand of tourist visits this historical wall. This wall not show the pride of Berlin because this wall divide the one city in two parts and divide the people also in two parts east and west. This wall says the fear, violence and terrorism of Nazis. The wall total length is 155km or 96miles long.
