Sunday, September 7th, 2008
If the travel top of the Eiffel Tower look down on the opposite bank of the Seine, your attention is attracted by a wonderful building full of windows (it seems almost a lussuosissima greenhouse) and adorned with statues and columns is the wonderful Grand Palais, on which stands out a huge flag and within which, 11 to September 21, will set the Biennale of Antique, a major exhibition inspired by dozens of exhibitors will present their best pieces of antique jewelry but also high with Cartier, Chanel , Dior, Van Cleef & Arpels and Harry Winston.
The scenery dell’edizione this year was entrusted to Patrick Bazanan that has transformed the spaces of the splendid palace in a gigantic greenhouse, with real gardens to make a frame with 93 galleries. The event will be pleasant to the palate: to make it “palatable” we think the great chefs of high French cuisine with their tasty dishes served in the restaurant which will be set up in the Grand Palais.
